The Hélène & Édouard Leclerc Fund for Culture is a contemporary art center, located in Landerneau in the former Capuchin convent. Presenting emblematic artists of our time and being a mediator with a large public are the objectives of the programming of temporary exhibitions.

    From June 12, 2022 to January 15, 2023: Ernest Pignon-Ernest

Ernest Pignon-Ernest has been working in the public space for more than fifty years. He presents to Landerneau his installations, his drawings, his photographs revealing his entire creative process. The exhibition bringing together more than three hundred works demonstrates the creative power of this great artist, alerted by the state of the world, uplifted by his passion for art and poetry, sometimes considered a pioneer of urban art.

Since its opening in 2012, the FHEL has welcomed more than 1,000,000 visitors! If it has become a meeting place for contemporary art lovers, the site welcomes an ever more varied and numerous public, of all ages and from all walks of life.
Each year, two to three temporary exhibitions take over the large 1,200 m² hall.

    Retrospective:
The FHEL welcomed Joan Miró in 2013, Jean Dubuffet in 2014, Alberto Giacometti in 2015, the 3rd stage of the Opéra national de Paris in the spring of 2016, Marc Chagall in 2016 or even Pablo Picasso in 2017, Henry Moore as well as Mitchell/ Riopelle in 2018.

Some pieces, made for Landerneau, are presented for the first time.
Invitation is made to FHEL audiences to discover this universe and, with the artist, to look behind the masks!
