This rocky point is characteristic of the Breton coast. The Pointe du Meinga, by its north-south orientation and taking into account the prevailing westerly winds, presents a peculiarity in the physiognomy of its vegetation: high moor on the eastern slope, sheltered from the winds, low lawn and prostrate vegetation on the slope west, swept by prevailing winds. The Pointe du Meinga, by its north-south orientation and taking into account the prevailing westerly winds, presents a peculiarity in the physiognomy of its vegetation: high moor on the eastern slope, sheltered from the winds, low lawn and prostrate vegetation on the slope west, swept by prevailing winds. It is also one of the privileged sites for the reproduction of fierce and demanding seabird species: inaccessible nesting areas, moors and thickets allowing migratory birds to join native colonies.
