Jean-Luc in CombourgHello, I come from Lorient, in the Morbihan! We are staying for a week with my wife. We drove there since it’s not very far from where we live. We were looking for a place to rent in the area, but we were a bit late… We’ll say that it’s the opportunity we had that made the place of our vacations. We are on the side of Saint-Suliac in a camp-site, we stay in a mobile home! The corner is very pretty, especially Cancale! The coast, the GR34, the path of the customs officers… It is really nice!

Simon and Heidi in Dol de BretagneWe come from Offenburg in Germany, we came by car and stay in the region for two weeks. We discovered your destination thanks to the internet and thanks to the Michelin Guide.We are staying in a bed and breakfast on the side of Hirel. We have been to the Mont-Saint-Michel and we don’t have anything like that in Germany.

Nicolas and Clémence in Saint-MaloHello! We are originally from Grenoble. We are staying for a short week, sleeping in Dol-de-Bretagne in a gite and visiting until the end of the week. We are originally from Grenoble but we made breaks in Le Mans and Tours! In fact we are invited to a wedding in Normandy and we said to ourselves that it was the occasion to visit the Mont-Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo, Cancale…

Frédérique and her family in CancaleWe drove from our home, south of Tours, to Chevaigné, above Rennes. From there we left by bike to make a big loop. In total we will ride for 6 days. We rode up the Ille-et-Rance canal, crossed the Rance river on a boat, and finally rode along the Emerald Coast to Cancale. Tonight we will be at the Mont Saint-Michel! We are staying at the campsite, except tomorrow night when we plan to sleep in a hotel at the Mont. We decided on the choice of the destination thanks to Facebook: we saw an advertisement on the route Traversée Moderne d’un Vieux Pays. Looking at the route we thought it would be nice! It’s been three years, since the Covid, that we go by bike: Indre à Vélo, Loire à Vélo, Canal de Nantes à Brest… It’s a place we already knew a little bit, by car, but less in detail, and there it was really nice.
