around the Tourist Office

The Tourist Office of Saint-Malo is located on the Esplanade Saint-Vincent, at the gates of the old city called “Intra-Muros”.

Parking in the vicinity of the Office

Numerous parking lots in the direct vicinity of the old town and the tourist office:

  • 5 free spaces on a reserved parking lot near the Porte Saint-Vincent.
  • Enclosed parking lots with reserved spaces: these are paid, as are all the spaces in these parking lots. The entry and exit terminals, as well as the automatic cashiers are adapted:
  • Parking Vauban,
  • Parking Duguay-Trouin,
  • Parking La Galère,
  • Parking underground Saint-Vincent offers 10 reserved spaces on 4 levels.

All of these parking lots are limited in height.  Some specific spaces without height limit on the following parking lots:

  • Porte de Dinan: 3 spaces,
  • Parking de la Galère (behind the Castle): 1 space.

Spaces located inside the old town are also without height limit.With the exception of the enclosed parking lots, the underground parking lot and the Paul Féval park-and-ride lot, parking is free.

Find your way around the Tourist Office

The Saint-Malo Tourist Office is located on the Esplanade Saint-Vincent: it is located between the Porte Saint-Vincent (main entrance to the old town called ‘Intra-Muros’) and the Plage du Sillon.The pedestrian esplanade is fully accessible: pedestrians and people with reduced mobility can move freely.7 sound beacons are installed within the perimeter of the Tourist Office located on the Esplanade Saint-Vincent:

  • Saint-Vincent Gate
  • Manège
  • Chaussée du Sillon
  • Taxi Station
  • Tourist Office: In front of the entrance
  • Tourist Office: at the back of the building
  • Quai Duguay-Trouin

These sound beacons are triggered from a remote control over a distance of approximately 15 meters. When the beacon is triggered, it emits a message that allows visually impaired people to find their way around.Remote controls available on request from the Saint-Malo Tourist Office.In addition, a multi-sensory and Brailleborne representing the esplanade is positioned in front of the Tourist Office entrance.
